SUNDAE SUNDAY IN 2008

A SPOKANE running tradition for over 20 years, the Sundae Sunday 10 Miler is the premier late summer distance event for runners and walkers.

THE COURSE:

The race begins at Joe Albi Stadium on Spokane's north side, and continues down Northwest Boulevard to Meenach Drive, where after a steep downhill, the course winds north along the Spokane River on Downriver Drive, through scenic Riverside State Park.
Mile 3 through 8 follow the Spokane River through Riverside State Park to Rifle Club Road and a short climb up to Assembly Ave.,where winded runners will sprint the last half-mile back into Joe Albi Stadium. Waiting beyond the cheering onlookers and finish chutes will be the race's trademark ice cream sundae reward.
